I received your letter immediately on my return from Hong Kong, where I had gone to attend to our business affairs. Unfortunately, I had not left instructions with my office to pay off the rent to you. I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
A cheque (a/c payee) for Rs. 3500 (Rupees three thousand five hundred only) is enclosed as payment for the same rent.
Kindly acknowledge and send me the receipt for the same.
