Dear Mr. Ansari,
I request to say that we had to bounce the cheque (no. SF 10958), you issued to Messrs R.P. Rawal and Sons. The sum of Rs. 20,000 (Rupees twenty thousand) was far above the amount that in my discretion as branch manager could disburse as O/D. For all sums above Rs. 5000 permission must be taken from the Zonal Manager which is a long winding process. No cheque for clearance can be held back for more than a few hours.
I hope you will understand my helplessness in the matter. We assure you of our best services in all other matters.
