I am informed by students and teachers that clandestine groups of boys are smuggling in brown sugar into the hostels and selling them at an exorbitant price. This is a most injurious trend and is perfectly illegal. It may lead to the permanent handicap of addiction in students and a ruin of their career.
The police have been informed about the matter and they are tracing down the ring of drug smugglers. Any student caught to be colluding with outside elements in the racket will be rusticated and liable to criminal prosecution.
